The Raja Kerbau RC boat race team from Temburong District emerged as champions at the Miri RC Boat Fun Race recently, securing an impressive haul of trophies.
The team clinched three gold, three silver and two bronze trophies, in addition to 10 consolation prizes.The event saw fierce competition from 36 teams representing Malaysia and the Sultanate.
Other Brunei teams that participated included TJ Duratex, Chasing Team, KB, Engkrawai and Manchal RC.
Sarawak Transport Minister Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin, the guest of honour, presented the prizes. – Azlan Othman
