Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) through the Faculty of Arabic Language sent four Bachelor of Arabic Language and Translation students to participate in the three-day Regional Arabic Language Camp 2.0 programme from December 16-18 at Universiti Malaya, Malaysia.
The programme held in conjunction with World Arabic Language Day 2022 was aimed at strengthening the use of the Arabic language and increase its mastery at the national, regional and global levels.
It showed the importance of organising activities related to the language such as competitions, seminars, activities camps and exhibitions as well as help participants improve their Arabic language skills.
The programme organised by Universiti Malaya involved collaboration between universities in Malaysia and Asia such as Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam which can establish and strengthen ties among regional institutions of higher education.
Among the activities included logo and slogan creation, exploration, training, creating theme songs and Arabian culture night.
