    Local scholars off to Chinese university

    Twenty-nine Chemical Engineering students under the Hengyi Industries Sdn Bhd and Politeknik Brunei (PB) Joint Collaboration Programme are in China for one semester to study at Lanzhou Petrochemical University of Vocational Technology.

    Scholarship recipient Muhammad Nur Khairurrabi’ee bin Haji Japarudin said, “We are excited because we get to study and train there.

    “This opportunity will broaden our horizons for our future career with Hengyi Industries. We are forever grateful for this opportunity.”

    Another scholar, Nabilah Hadirah binti Nazaruddin, expressed how thankful she is for the chance to study abroad.

    “Embarking on this journey to study abroad in Lanzhou fills us with a mix of excitement, curiosity, and gratitude.

    “We’re eager to embrace new experiences, cultures, and knowledge. This opportunity is a stepping stone for personal and academic growth, and we can’t wait to make the most of every moment.”

    The students recently had a farewell ceremony at the Brunei International Airport.
