Brunei Darussalam Powerboat Association (PBLBD) teams made waves at the Kanowit Powerboat Race 2024 at the Kanowit Waterfront, Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia from September 20 to 22.
Among the victorious teams from the contingent included Team Raja Kerbau Gemilang, as Abdul Muhaimin bin Armaini, who led his team to victory by placing first in the ‘30hp 3piston’ category, as well as securing third place in the ‘50hp and below’ category. He also received the challenge trophy for his achievement in the ‘30hp 3piston’ category.
Another team from PBLBD that competed and achieved a podium finish in the race was Jen-4, with Jeremy Naweh placing third in the ‘60SST’ category.
Previously, the group also made a splash at the Tatau Festival’s Powerboat Race, with Abdul Muhaimin also securing crucial wins, propelling them to their latest achievements at Kanowit. – Daniel Lim
