Among the many exhibitors at the largest family festival being held in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah dubbed ‘Borneo Mega Raya Fest 2023’ is Cahaya Butik from the Sultanate.
Staff member Najiha shared that it is different from their previous showings at festivals as this is the first time they are taking part in an event overseas.
The environment is different from what she had experienced, she said, adding that she saw several Malaysian celebrities at an event organised by Malaysian artist Harris Baba in collaboration with the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC).
She also shared that the Cahaya Butik owner saw the promotion of the event on social media and decided to give it a go, adding that they are open to joining more in the future.
She said, “Alhamdulillah responses has been positive as our line of clothes are from Turkiye and they have garnered quite stir among visitors.”
