Ten members of the Federation of Brunei Malay Entrepreneurs (PPPMB) made a five-day visit to Malaysian trade representatives and entrepreneurs in Kuching, Sarawak.
The delegation was led by PPPMB Deputy President of Welfare and Social Ahanapi bin Haji Mahadi and Deputy President of Administration and Policy Haji Aminorashid bin Haji Ghazali. The visit was organised by PPPMB and supported by Dewan Usahawan Bumiputera Sarawak (DUBS) and Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) Sarawak.
During their stay in Kuching, the delegation visited the Sarawak Ministry of International Trade, Industry and Investment (MINTRED), DUBS headquarters and met with Malaysian entrepreneurs as well as visited factories of several DUBS members.
The Consul General of Brunei Darussalam in Kuching, Sarawak Noni Zurainah binti Haji Ismi also hosted a welcome dinner for the delegates.
During the visit, MARA Sarawak held a dialogue and business matching session with its entrepreneurs.
The visit is the first official business visit of PPPMB with MARA Sarawak and DUBS. PPPMB hoped that the trip will be the first of many to help deepen the relationship between the associations.
