Prosecutor Radin Wafri bin Radin Sufri yesterday levelled a theft charge against locals Muhammad Aiman bin Morni, 26 and Mohd Saiful Rizal bin Bujang, 36.
The charge alleged that sometime on May 3 and 4, the duo unlawfully entered a building in Jalan Singa Menteri, Kuala Belait and stole various items including medication, household goods and electronic appliances.
The charge framed under Section 380 of the Penal Code, Chapter 22, read with Section 34, carries penalties of imprisonment for up to seven years and a fine.
Acting Senior Magistrate adjourned the case to May 11, giving way to the Royal Brunei Police Force to complete investigations. – Fadley Faisal
