Brunei Darussalam athletes excelled in the regional stage after winning their categories during the recently-concluded Mr Boulevard Bintulu 2022 Bodybuilding and Physique Competition in Sarawak, Malaysia.
Local bodybuilder Wadud bin Haji Abu Bakar from Dudgym claimed top spot in the 65kg and above category, and second place in the Body Physique 168cm and above category.
Meanwhile, Abdul Malik Al-Mukkaramah bin Haji Mohd Yusof from Vertics Gym bagged top spot in the Body Physique 168cm and above category, and second place in the 65kg and above category.
Azri Asmat Sefri from Miri, Sarawak emerged as the overall champion in the meet.
The competition benefitted participants in leading a healthy lifestyle, while at the same time, educating them to practice self-discipline, especially in managing nutrition, increasing metabolism and strengthening the immune system.
Twenty-two individuals from Bintulu, Brunei Darussalam, Miri, Kuching and Sibu participated in the event, which was hosted by Bintulu.
