Local bodybuilder bags gold, silver in KL meet

Brunei Darussalam bodybuilder Wadud bin Haji Abu Bakar did the country proud after winning one gold and two silver medals in the FIF Multinational Mortal Battle Pro/Am Competition at the Unicorn Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia recently.

The local athlete struck gold in the Men’s Open Physique Pro Card category and bagged two silver in the under-80kg category and Champion of Champion Physique category.

His most recent triumph came less than two weeks after claiming top spot in the 65kg and above category and second place in the Body Physique 168cm and above category in the Mr Boulevard Bintulu 2022 Bodybuilding and Physique Competition in Sarawak, Malaysia.

The next stop of the bodybuilding competition will be held at the FIF Worldwide Classic Pro/Am at the Tampines Hub in Singapore on February 18 next year.

The competition, which attracted participants from around the Southeast Asian region, was organised by Fitness International Federation (FIF).

It also saw the new FIF Pros being crowned and current FIF Pros to fight for the overall Mr and Ms FIF Mortal Battle Champions 2022.
