Local archer Mohamad Sufian bin Haji Serudin was recently selected to represent Brunei Darussalam in the International Horseback Archery Malaysia Cup Championship at the Ladang Alam Warisan in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.
Mohamad Sufian said, “Alhamdulillah, my participation helped me to gain knowledge and meet other international riders with more experience.
“Even though there was a slight issue with the archery equipment, I was able to continue the match till the end.”
The local archer also expressed hopes that the country will be able to provide facilities for horseback archery training one day and produce more horseback archers. – Fadhil Yunus
