Villagers in Kampong Lumut, Sungai Liang and the surrounding area had a lively weekend as they enjoyed the various activities held at the three-day Pesta Pantai Lumut 2024.
The festival, which took place at the Lumut Beach Recreational Park, began on Friday. It was organised by the Kampong Lumut 2 Village Consultative Council, in collaboration with Lumut 1, Kampong Sungai Liang, RPN Lumut 1, RPN Lumut 2 and RPN Lumut 3.
On Sunday, Minister of Home Affairs Dato Seri Setia Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman joined in the festivities, taking part in a 15km bike ride.
Village head of Kampung Lumut 2 Haji Khairdon bin Haji Dahlan, said some activities that took place over the festival include a Flying Fox, camping, cultural and traditional performances, including a Mukun performance.
Some 30 booths set up by local businesses and entrepreneurs offered food, drink, games and various other activities.
