(ANN/THE KOREA HERALD) – Lisa of Blackpink uploaded a clip on Thursday, signaling her return as a solo artist. The video, showcasing her status as a leading fashionista, was accompanied by a notice on her individual website with the message “Coming Soon” and instructions on how to “pre-save” her upcoming music on Spotify and Apple Music.
In April, Lisa secured a partnership with American record label RCA Records through her own agency, Lloud Company, which she established in February. This collaboration marks a significant step in her solo career, following her successful solo debut.
Lisa’s namesake solo album, released in September 2021, achieved remarkable success, selling over 750,000 copies in the first week—a record for a K-pop female solo artist.
The album’s featured track, “Lalisa,” topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in 103 regions and reached No. 84 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and No 64 on the UK’s Official Songs Chart Top 100.
Meanwhile, the B-side track “Money” logged impressive streaks on both charts, peaking at No 90 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No 54 on the UK’s Official Songs Chart.
Lisa’s return to the solo scene is eagerly anticipated by fans worldwide, who are excited to see what new milestones she will achieve.
Her influence as a global icon in both music and fashion continues to grow, making her one of the most prominent figures in the industry. With her new music on the horizon, Lisa is set to further solidify her position as a powerhouse solo artist.
