Temburong Arabic School held a Hayya Ilal ‘Arabiyyah (Let’s Speak Arabic) programme yesterday.
Themed ‘Al-Mu’allim’ (Teacher), the activities focused on boosting students’ Arabic listening skills, reading, writing and speaking.
The ceremony included recitations of Sayyidul Istighfar, Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat, followed by a speech from Headmistress Serikartini binti Haji Omar.
Among the highlights of the programme included performances, selawat praising Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and visits to Arabic activity areas.
Temburong District Head Religious Officer of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Harris Hamdillah bin Haji Masri was the guest of honour. – Azlan Othman
