A group of 66 students from Chung Hwa School Kiudang attended the 3R Activity programme from STEP Centre at the school’s Multi-purpose Hall recently.
The educational programme included an on-site presentation followed by fun-filled activities such as waste management quizzes and games for students from Years 1 to 6.
The activities aimed to enhance students’ understanding and awareness of the 3Rs (reduce, reuse, recycle).
It taught students to think about the waste created at home and at school, and ways they can reduce, reuse, repurpose, or recycle.
The activities ended with a prize presentation to the winning group by STEP Centre officials.
Principal Loo Shee Yun presented a token of appreciation to the STEP Centre.
