Lessons on avoiding deviant activities

Education Officer Erwin Ahmad bin Mustaffa gave a religious talk to Madang Religious School students on avoiding deviant activities that are against Islamic teachings.

He said those participating in such social ills do not respect the family institution, religion and the Bruneian culture.

The talk was part of the nationwide religious programme for religious and Arabic schools.

The event was highlighted by the recitation of Selawat Tafrijiyyah, Sayyidul Istighfar and Al-Fatihah by teachers and students.

There was also the recitation of Surah Al-Mulk led by Rasmadi bin Haji Sulaiman.

To seek protection against COVID-19, a Doa was read by student Md Izdiyat while Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam was read by head of prefects Md Rayyan.

Religious School Division officer Sahril bin Haji Suboh and officers from the Co-Curriculum Division at Islamic Studies Department Haji Othman bin Haji Asat and Haji Rosliman bin Haji Usop were present.
