Legislative Council (LegCo) members visited Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (BKISHHB) yesterday.
BKISHHB Director Dr Haji Mohammed Hussain bin Pehin Penyurat Haji Ahmad, officers and staff of the BKISHHB, welcomed the delegation and briefed them on the centre.
The visit aimed to introduce BKISHHB, broaden networking with the LegCo members and provide information on its role and function.
The LegCo members also toured the galleries housing an array of collections such as mushaf, Islamic manuscripts, astronomy tools, cane and prayer beads.
The LegCo members also visited Rambut Mulia Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam gallery, currently opened from April 1 to 10, in conjunction with the last 10 days of Ramadhan. – Rokiah Mahmud
