A delegation from the Parliament of Malaysia led by Chiew Choon Man, Member of Parliament for Miri with Lee Chean Chung, Member of Parliament for Petaling Jaya as well as officials from the Secretariat of the Malaysian Parliament held an official meeting with Legislative Council (LegCo) members at the LegCo Building on Thursday.
The LegCo was led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman along with several LegCo members.
The meeting between the two parties discussed various issues that became of mutual concern, including strengthening diplomatic relations and relations between the two Parliaments, as well as efforts to build strategic cooperation that provides impact on various sectors.
Both sides hope that the close relationship already established between the two countries will continue to be strengthened to achieve mutual progress and well-being. – Fadhil Yunus
