The Faculty of Usuluddin at the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College (KUPU SB) organised a dakwah (Islamic propagation) programme on Tadabbur (reflection) of Al-Quran and Al-Hadith at government departments in conjunction with the 41st National Day celebration and the beginning of Ramadhan 1446Hijrah.
The programme twas held yesterday at Setia Pahlawan Hall, Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism, attended by male officers and staff of the ministry. A lecture titled ‘Tadabbur Ramadhan Al-Mubarak Untuk Kehidupan’ (Reflection on the Blessed Ramadhan for Life) was delivered by Dr Mikdar Rusdi, Senior Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Usuluddin, KUPU SB.
The lecture highlighted the significance of Ramadhan as an opportunity for Muslims to strengthen their piety, express gratitude for blessings and seek forgiveness for past sins. Dr Mikdar also emphasised that Ramadhan is a month of blessings and mercy, eagerly awaited by Muslims as a time to enhance faith and devotion.
The programme aims to expand dakwah outreach to ministries and government departments while educating officers and staff on the importance of Tadabbur Al-Quran and Al-Hadith as a guide for daily life.
The dakwah programme will continue this Saturday for female officers and staff of the ministry at the same venue. – Fadley Faisal
