Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) celebrated Healthy Eating Day with ‘Eat Healthily With Us’ yesterday to introduce food that can be both delicious and nutritious.
The event began with the recitatation of Doa and was officiated by Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Executive Director of JPMC as the guest of honour.
Senior Management and Head of Departments of JPMC also participated.
During the touring of booths, vendors informed the minister on the good cause and education they can give customers to encourage a healthy lifestyle through healthier food choices.
The event was made possible with the participation of a number of local vendors.
Ten per cent of the proceeds will be donated to the Brunei Breast Cancer Support Group (BBCSG).
JPMC College of Health Sciences (JCHS) and Fitness Centre by JPMC also showcased their products and services.
Fitness Centre ended the event with a Zumba class led by fitness Instructor, Martha Bumatang Omengan (Maryam).
