Some 47 students from St Angela’s School in Seria joined a two-day leadership camp recently.
The programme, held for the first time and in collaboration with MINDA Youth Movement (MYM), was aimed at nurturing leadership skills and teamwork. The participants attended talks on leadership and joined activities including word puzzles.
MYM project leader Nur Najwa Liza said the students participated in brainstorming session and joined activities enhancing decision making skills. There were also group activities with 15 obstacles. Among the challenges were commando-style physical activities and following commands without sight, designed to raise physical and mental endurance.
The leadership camp concluded with the presentation of certificates to the participants.
