Lawyer detained over i-Serve, MYAirline case released on police bail

THE STAR – The 62-year-old lawyer who was detained on Thursday in connection with the investigation into i-Serve and MYAirline, was released on police bail on police bail at Pudu police station at about 9pm on Friday.

This was said by Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) director Comm Datuk Seri Ramli Mohamed Yoosuf.

“However, he will be called up again to complete the recording of his statement,” he added yesterday.

He said the remands for a 33-year-old woman, who worked at i-Serve Technology and Vacation Sdn Bhd in 2013 as a finance assistant and a 48-year-old man who worked at the same company as a research and development manager in 2006, are expected to expire yesterday.

Meanwhile, the remand for the fourth suspect, a 30-year-old woman will expire today.

It was previously reported that the latest four suspects detained in connection with the investigation into MYAirline and i-Serve have been remanded.

Three of the latest suspects were detained outside the CCID headquarters at Jalan Tun Razak at around 1pm on Thursday.

The fourth suspect was detained at Bukit Tunku on the same day.
