The Syariah and Law Students’ Society (SHALAWSOC) under the Faculty of Sya’riah and Law paid a visit to Maraburong Prison in Sungai Kelugos, Tutong District. They were also joined by two postgraduate students from the Faculty of Syariah and Law, Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA).
The visit featured a briefing from public relations and international relations officer of the Prisons Department Sergeant 493 Siti Habibah binti Haji Mahbub.
There was also a demonstration on flogging.
The visit concluded with a group photo session, followed by the presentation of souvenir and a certificate of appreciation from the SHALAWSOC to Maraburong Prison.
