Launderers need to understand basic etiquettes

I would like to call on laundrette customers to be mindful of the basic etiquettes. There are people who tend to take the rules lightly, such as the simple act of airing the washer or dryer after use. Leaving the doors open will allow the machines to ‘breathe’, thus preventing moisture, which is a breeding ground for bacteria and mould.

Since laundrettes are public facilities, customers ought to pay attention to time. On many occasions, some customers would leave the facilities to run other errands and lose track of time. Why not set a timer on the phone instead of hogging the machine that could have gone to someone else?

With these facilities gaining popularity, there is a more pressing need for laundrette goers to be conscious of the etiquettes, so we can use the service in a more harmonious way.
