Late night crash claims motorcyclist’s life

A 23-year-old local man passed away on Tuesday night after his motorcycle collided with another vehicle in Kampong Mulaut.

Police personnel from Sengkurong Police Station responded to the emergency call around 10.30pm, the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) said.

An initial investigation found that the man was riding a motorcycle and was believed to have collided with a vehicle entering a junction.

The victim was found lying unconscious at the scene of the accident.

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle was transported to Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital.

The RBPF is investigating the cause of the accident.

The RBPF also advised the public to be aware of speed limits and to be attentive on the road.
