It was a busy day for parents yesterday as they finished shopping for essential school items, from uniforms to lunch boxes.
Aliah Ghani, a mother of three, said she was at The Mall, Gadong, hunting for discounted school supplies, taking advantage of ‘back-to-school’ promotions at stores.
Meanwhile, Rabiatul was armed with a shopping list of textbooks and other essentials.
“As COVID-19 cases are still prevalent, particularly with many people returning from abroad, I bought 10 sets of face masks,” she said.
She said she has her children do rapid antigen tests if they have symptoms as well as ensuring they keep up their personal hygiene. – Azlan Othman
