Brunei ladies’ softball team claimed the third spot in the Master’s Fastpitch Softball 2023 held at Pattaya, Thailand, after defeating MY ladies team of Malaysia 10-6 in the third-place battle yesterday.
Meanwhile, Brunei’s men master softball team bowed out of the tournament with a 0-1 defeat to Singapore Master team in a tightly contested matchup.
In the final of the ladies’ event, Angel’s team from hosts Thailand won against Kobra ladies of Indonesia 8-7 to emerge as the championa. For the men’s event, – HK master team cruised to an easy win against Singapore master team 9-1 to capture the championship trophy. – James kon
