The Laboratory Services Department emerged winners of the Ministry of Health (MoH) Badminton Championship 2023 held at the Peak Performance on Saturday night.
Dental Services Department finished runners-up while Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital came third.
Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar presented the prizes.
The Badminton Championship commenced on October 20 at the Youth Centre in the capital. Sixteen teams comprising officers and staff from departments and sections under the MoH across four districts competed in the tournament.
Permanent Secretary at the MoH Haji Maswadi bin Haji Mohsin; Deputy Permanent Secretary (Professional) at the MoH Dr Ang Swee Hui; Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Management) at the MoH Dr Hajah Anie Haryani binti Haji Abdul Rahman; heads of departments; as well as officers and staff under the MoH were also present. – Fadhil Yunus
