When the COVID-19 booster programme opened to the public, I managed to secure a slot at the Learning Development Centre of Suri Seri Begawan Hospital in Belait District.
As a resident of Brunei-Muara District who took her first two doses of the vaccine at Indoor Stadium in Berakas, I figured it would be good to have a change in scenery that required a road trip to the oil-rich district.
I arrived at the vaccination centre 20 minutes early and was greeted by a friendly frontliner at the entrance, who led to the waiting area.
The atmosphere was cordial, with cheerful frontliners and helpful staff attending to their tasks. One of them even approached me to ask if I had waited long.
The vaccination process was quick and easy; it was over in less than 40 minutes despite the growing crowd.
So kudos to the staff at the Kuala Belait vaccination centre for making my vaccination a breeze!
