I would like to applaud Salambigar Post Office for their amazing customer service.
Yesterday, a staff member phoned me to let me know that my parcels were ready for pick-up.
They also reminded me that the office closes at 4pm, giving me a two-and-a-half-hour headstart to decide whether or not to collect my items on the day itself.
As soon as I arrived at the post office, I felt like I was being properly served.
They asked for my name and within five minutes, I was heading to my car, armed with the parcels.
I spoke with a friend, who said he experiences the same level of service at Seri Complex Post Office.
Instead of a phone call, he would receive a Whatsapp text message.
It is really good to know that the postal service in the Sultanate is both professional and customer-oriented.
