Brunei Darussalam’s Kobe FC won a friendly match against Labuan Legend 3-2 at the Labuan Synthetic Field on Saturday.
Kobe FC, comprising veteran and youth players, scored first through Abdul Adib Abdul Khani.
Mohammad Khamarull Harzazey Rosle contributed another two goals. According to Kobe FC Assistant Manager Kamaluddin Abdullah, the team was established in 2022 and the friendly match was “the first abroad match for Kobe FC”.
Team captain Abdul Adib said the friendly aimed to promote healthy lifestyle and strengthen ties between Brunei and Labuan through sports activities.
He added the team will hold more friendly matches against local clubs, including in Thailand and Singapore. – James Kon
