The Negaraku Berzikir programme organised by the Youth Centre‘s Youth Transformation Community club (KKBT) held its second series of activity last Friday.
Negaraku Berzikir Programme is an annual projects of the KKBT Religious Bureau in response to the call made by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam to make the country a Zikir Nation.
Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof was present.
The religious activity included a zikir ceremony and Selawat Perdana held at the Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Mosque in Kampong Sungai Akar in collaboration with the mosque’s takmir committee as well as the Kampong Mata-Mata Gadong Religious Hall takmir committee.
The ceremony concluded with the recitation of Doa Munajat, Doa Penutup and Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
