A Khatam Al-Quran ceremony was held on Wednesday for 20 probationary inspector cadet officers and 99 male police constable trainees at the Mess Banquet Hall of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) headquarters in Gadong.
Commissioner of Police Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali and spouse were in attendance.
The ceremony commenced with a mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan, followed by the recitation of Khatam Al-Quran led by recruit Awangku Muhammad Zulhilmi Ahza bin Pengiran Kahar.
The participants then read the Takhtim Al-Quran led by probation cadet officer Muhammad Hafiz Hamizan bin Awang Johari, while Dikir Marhaban was lauded by all Khatam Al-Quran participants. – Rokiah Mahmud
