Key takes centre stage solo

SEOUL (ANN/THE KOREA HERALD) – In a highly anticipated announcement, SM Entertainment revealed that Key of SHINee is set to headline a solo concert, titled “2024 Keyland On: And On,” on January 27 to 28. This marks Key’s first solo performance in Korea in 15 months, following the success of his previous concert, “G.O.A.T. In the Keyland.”

The promotional poster for the upcoming event showcases a vibrant theme, featuring a vending machine adorned with several iterations of Key’s beloved furry mascot, Boksiri, donning various costumes.

Fans are already buzzing with excitement over what promises to be a visually stunning and musically captivating experience.

Amidst the anticipation, Key and his bandmates took a moment to remember and honour the late Jonghyun, who passed away six years ago on Monday.

The emotional tribute reflects the deep bonds shared among SHINee members, adding a poignant layer to the upcoming solo concert.

SHINee celebrated their 15th anniversary in June with the release of their eighth studio album, “Hard,” which quickly soared to the top of the iTunes top albums chart in 43 regions. The remarkable achievement underscored the enduring popularity and global influence of the veteran idol group.

As fans eagerly await “2024 Keyland On: And On,” Key’s solo venture promises to be a memorable celebration of his artistry and a testament to SHINee’s enduring legacy in the K-pop scene.
