I recently went to the bank to get some paperwork done. On arrival, I showed an employee the booking I had made on the QueUP app, to which I was told they no longer recognised as we are now in the endemic phase of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The same thing happened when I went to a government department to file for an application.
My question is: Why is the option still available on the app if a lot of government agencies and private institutions have dropped the service?
In my opinion, the QueUP app has been one of the best things that came out of the pandemic, removing the time that would have been spent just sitting around and waiting to be called.
Now that we are in the new normal, it appears that we are also turning our backs on efficiency.
I hope the authorities could consider keeping the app going as it has been a game-changer in the service industry.
