Irwan Affendy bin Haji Ismail won the grand prize of a home transformation worth BND20,000 in Toyota Brunei’s ‘Impian Bersama Toyota’ Raya campaign at the Toyota showroom in Gadong yesterday.
In an interview, Irwan Affendy, who drove from Kuala Belait at 6.30am for the event, shared his excitement.
“Alhamdulillah, this is the first time that I have won a lucky draw and it’s the grand prize. I didn’t expect it. I was thinking I maybe can win at least the BND500 prize,” he said.
Malik Hafuza bin Abdullah Padan @ Noman bin Padan won the second prize of home furniture worth BND10,000. NBT (Brunei) Sdn Bhd General Manager Clovien presented prizes to the top two winners.
Meanwhile, Mohamad Shahril Azwan bin Haji Simbaran received a household appliances worth BND5,000 and Haji Musa bin Haji Abas won the home wellness prize worth BND3,000.
Some 24 individuals were selected in the annual Raya campaign grand draw organised by Toyota Brunei, the authorised distributor of Toyota vehicles.
Customers who purchased a Toyota between March 1 and April 30 stood a chance to win home improvement prizes valued from BND500 to BND20,000.
A separate event on May 7 at the same place was held to shortlist the participants out of hundreds of customers who bought a Toyota during the campaign period.
In the first round, NBT (Brunei) General Finance Manager Leong Nyuk Yen drew 10 names and presented prizes for the home decor and home kitchenware categories.
Five participants each claimed home kitchenware worth BND1,000 while five others each walked away with home decor worth BND500.
In the second round, NBT (Brunei) Senior General Sales Manager Leong Cheng Soon drew another 10 names and presented the prizes.
Participants had the opportunity to choose a card from the ‘Pelita Impian’ standee one at a time.
Five winners each received home garden items worth BND2,000 while five others each received smart home technology prizes worth BND1,500. – James Kon
