Despite the torrential rainfall on Friday night, KB FC secured a win with a final score of 1-0 in the Brunei Super League 2023 as they went up against BSRC FC at the football field of the Brunei Shell Recreation Club (BSRC).
With the clear night at the start of the match, both teams started strong in the first half as they exchanged near goals against each other.
This started to deteriorate as the clear skies gave way to rainfall and while the challenge was amped up for both teams, KB FC managed to turn the rain to their advantage as Aakash Thapa led the charge by scoring a goal in the second half. – Daniel Lim
