Brunei Super League reigning holders Kasuka FC are in line to represent Brunei Darussalam at the highly-anticipated Shopee Cup ASEAN Club Championship 2024/2025 which will be held next July.
The tournament will be participated by the champions and runners-up teams of the national leagues from Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam.
Phillipines and Singapore are also invited to the prestigious tournament organised by the Asean Football Federation (AFF).
Meanwhile, representatives from Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar will compete in the qualifying matches to determine the berths of the two best teams to advance to the group stage.
Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) President Haji Feisal bin Haji Eusoff Patail left for Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam at the invitation of AFF to witness the draw ceremony for the tournament.
Also joining the FABD President’s delegation is FABD Executive Committee Member Pengiran Haji Mohd Waslimin bin Pengiran Setia Jaya Pengiran Haji Abdul Momin. – Fadhil Yunus
