Kasuka & Ar Rawda enjoyed a good start to the Brunei Futsal League 2023 following a 5-3 win over PES at the Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) Sports Complex in Jalan Tungku Link on Friday.
Kasuka & Ar Rawda player Mohammad Reza Rahmannia played a starring role in the eight-goal thriller after netting a hat-trick.
The Kasuka star put his side ahead with the opener in the fifth minute but PES player Ahmad Muhazzib Haririe bin Haji Md Daud levelled the tie two minutes before the break.
However, Mohammad Reza bagged a quick-fire double in the 22nd and 24th minute to put Kasuka back in front of the tie.
PES responded with a goal from Khairun Nadzereen bin Haji Md Daud in the 32nd minute, but Kasuka restored their two-goal cushion through Awangku Muhammad Nazrul Mubin bin Pengiran Duraman a minute later.
Awangku Muhammad Amirul Mu’adz bin Pengiran Kasmshulzaman ensured a nervy finish after scoring in the 37th minute.
But Mohd Farhan bin Arman put the tie to bed following his finely-struck effort a minute from time.
