Kasuka & Ar Rawda managed to seize top spot in the Brunei Futsal League 2023 after clinically dispatching Arbisyam FC 7-0 at the multi-purpose hall of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas recently.
The victory helped them maintain a six-game unbeaten run and collect a maximum 18 points with MS ABDB. The triumphant Kasuka whose majority in the side boast local players with vast potential as well as two import players dominated play as Wahyu Triyanto’s charges led in the sixth minute through Muhammad Naqib Pengiran Timbang.
The in-form Kasuka doubled their lead through Awangku Muhammad Nazirul Mubin bin Pengiran Aduraman in the 11th minute. Muhd Ulfi Aminuddin and Mohd Faiz Hasna further added Arbisyam’s woes before Mohd Reza Rahmania added his name in the score-sheet with a brace in the 26th and 34th minute.
Awangku Muhammad Naqib’s second of the game completed the rout in what was a miserable outing for the embattled Arbisyam.
Kasuka & Ar Rawda head coach Wahyu Triyanto said, “The win is a result of the player’s perseverance with the support of members of the management and supporters.”
He continued, “If this continues, I am confident that Kasuka & Ar Rawda will be able to collect full points in the coming matches.”
Meanwhile, Arbisyam FC team manager Abdul Mansyor Hibri bin Hazwan Haji Ishak acknowledged the his team’s fighting spirit.
