Abdul Mu’iz bin Haji Kadir received 66 votes and one against out of 154 registered and eligible voters for the Kampong Bokok village head position yesterday.
Abdul Mu’iz, a Bachelor’s degree graduate from Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali, the only eligible candidate, works as a McDonald’s Restaurant Manager, Makan Ceria Sdn Bhd.
Acting Temburong District officer Muhammad Usamah bin Haji Sarbini witnessed the vote at the Community Hall of Mukim Bokok in Temburong District.
Voting using paper took place from 8am to 11am while voting through e-Undi PMKK application was held on Wednesday.
The voting result will be forwarded to the Board of Appointment, Discipline and Procedures for the Mukim Penghulu and Village Head at the Ministry of Home Affairs. – James Kon
