Thirty-one residents, including orphans, single mothers, and senior citizens from Kampong Belimbing, received donations in a ceremony yesterday.
The event, organised by Lotus Light Charity Society (LLCS) in collaboration with Kampong Belimbing Consultative Council, saw Legislative Council (LegCo) member Yang Berhormat Haji Daud bin Jihan, as the Village Head of Kampong Belimbing, and Chloe Champion Group Head of Team Chloe Beh present the donations.
Yang Berhormat Haji Daud expressed hope that the contribution would ease the recipients’ burden as they begin the New Year. – James Kon
