ANN/THE KOREA HERALD – BTS’s Jungkook is set to expand his roster of high-profile collaborators as he teams up with R&B legend Usher for a remix of “Standing Next You”.

Big Hit Music revealed on Wednesday that the revamped version of the track, originally featured in Jungkook’s debut solo album “Golden,” is scheduled for release on December 1.

Despite its dip to No 73 on Billboard’s Hot 100 this week, “Standing Next to You” continues to make waves, having debuted at an impressive No. 5 on the main singles chart just two weeks prior.

This marks the sixth entry for the artist on the chart, establishing a remarkable record for a solo K-pop musician.

In other news, reports have surfaced indicating that Jungkook, alongside Jimin, is slated to begin military service on December 12, a day after RM and V.

While the dates remain unconfirmed by the musician’s label, it was disclosed last week that all four members have initiated the process to commence their military duties.
