Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) and Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organisation Regional Centre for Vocational and Technical Education and Training (SEAMEO Voctech) Brunei Darussalam held a contract signing ceremony on Tuesday for an agreement for SV to provide quality customer care training services for JPMC personnel for a period of two years.
The agreement was signed by JPMC Acting Chief Operating Officer Bun Pei Ling and JPMC Hospital Administrator Chris Carvalho on behalf of JMPC while SEAMEO Voctech was represented by Centre Director Alias bin Haji Abu Bakar and Deputy Director of Administration Pengiran Haji Mohamad Sufri bin Pengiran Ali. Witnessing the contract signing was Permanent Secretary (Higher Education) at the Ministry of Education Dr Haji Azman bin Ahmad.
The agreement is a provision of an in-house service training programme that caters specifically to the hospital’s employees, in all levels of their customer-centric careers.
In line with the JPMC’s Joint Commission International (JCI) quality standards, the collaboration is aimed to enhance their personal service skills, foster professional development in the provision of high-quality care experiences to patients and establish a warm culture that contributes to society.
