The results of the closed tender for vehicle registration number (VRN) three and four digit for BBJ Series conducted through Click-and-Bid will be available in the NomborKu website today, according to the Land Transport Department (JPD) in a press release.
The department informed participants in the closed tender that the results will be sent via email to the address registered with the department. Successful tenderers are required to comply with the terms and conditions outlined by JPD.
Successful tenderers are required to pay the full amount tendered and register the VRN under the tenderer’s name no later than one month from the issuance of the Award Letter.
Those failing to make the full payment, the awarded VRN will be automatically cancelled and the service fee will not be refunded.
The extension period application for registering the VRN (Holding) may be submitted after the full payment of the VRN has been made and within one month from the date the Award Letter is issued.
If the tenderer has not registered the VRN after making payment but intends to keep the VRN, the fee for the extension period for registering the VRN (Holding) is BND20 for one year. The minimum holding period is one year, and the maximum is 10 years, depending on the selected duration.
The payment for successful tender VRN and Holding can be made online or at any JPD branch counter, excluding the JPD Training and Driving Test Circuit Complex in Sungai Akar.
For successful tenderers wishing to transfer the VRN, the transfer of VRN three and four digit is permitted to any individual and allowed more than once, either through the VRN transfer service only or through the VRN transfer service via vehicle ownership transfer.
The transfer service made through the VRN transfer service only or VRN Transfer Service via Vehicle Ownership transfer after a period of 12 months from the date the Successful Letter was issued will incur a service fee of BND5.
Meanwhile, the transfer service made through the VRN Transfer Service only or VRN Transfer Service via Vehicle Ownership Transfer within a period of less than 12 months from the date the Successful Letter was issued will incur a service fee of BND100.
Processed and approved VRN Transfer applications, whether through the VRN Transfer Service only or VRN Transfer via Vehicle Ownership Transfer, the service fees is non-refundable. – Lyna Mohamad
