Forty vehicles – 20 Mercedes Benz from the Benzer club and 20 BMWs from the Bimmer BGT club – participated in a convoy ride to celebrate Brunei’s 38th National Day yesterday. Acting Village Head of Kampong Sinaut and Kampong Kelugos Haji Ismail bin Haji Mohammad flagged off the convoy at the Indoor Stadium parking lot.
The convoy made its way to The Empire Hotel Brunei via the Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Highway and then made their way back to the stadium.
A first collaboration between the two car clubs, the event aimed to instil the spirit of patriotism and foster closer ties among the members.
