In response to a letter by Thirsty Resident titled ‘Urgent request for resolution of water issue’ published in the Opinion page on January 11, the Public Works Department (JKR) wishes to thank the writer for bringing up the issue.
JKR through the Department of Water Services conducted an investigation at Simpang 395, Kampong Sungai Tilong and identified an incoming water supply issue to a particular residence due to a suspected clog, restricting the inflow of water. JKR carried out essential operation works to rectify the issue. Based from observation, there has been an improvement on the incoming water supply into the household resolving the issue.
JKR and the Department of Water Services regret any inconveniences caused and thank the writer for the understanding and patience.
