The Public Works Department (JKR) announced a temporary road closure at Jalan Lorong Bunga Melor in Seria to repair a broken sewer pipe.
The temporary closure will begin tomorrow from 8am until it is completed.
Motorists are advised to use alternative roads.
Meanwhile, several areas in Berakas and Jalan Muara will experience low water pressure or water disruptions tonight due to repair works on a pipe in the vicinity of the Prime Minister’s Office building, Jalan Perdana Menteri from 9pm until repair works are completed.
The affected areas are Kampong Melabau, Jalan Menteri Besar, Jalan Airport Lama and Commonwealth Drive, Kampong Burong Pinggai Berakas, Kampong Pulaie, Kampong Anggerek Desa, Kampong Delima Satu and Delima Dua, Kampong Serusop, Kampong Madang, Kampong Manggis, Kampong Sungai Tilong, Kampong Sungai Akar, Kampong Sungai Hanching, Kampong Salambigar and the surrounding areas.
The department reassured the public that every measure has been taken to ensure the repair works reach completion as soon as possible.
The public can call Darussalam Line at 123 for clean water supply through water tankers or to lodge a complaint.
