The closing of a U-turn and temporary closures of two roads were announced by the Public Work Department (JKR) yesterday.
The U-Turn on the Muara Tutong-Highway at KM 38.5 is closed said JKR in a statement, requesting road users to adhere to speed limits and road signs while taking a detour using the new Lugu flyover.
On February 24-25, the road around the wharf in Pekan Bangar in Temburong District will be closed to make way for the National Day flag lowering.
Meanwhile, JKR said that a section of Jalan Perdana Menteri, near the traffic lights at Jalan Stadium, will be temporarily closed from February 25-27 from 7am to 6pm.
This is to make way for cleaning maintenance works to the culvert and sump in the area, it added.
