The 33rd Jiwaku Ikhlas Charity Project saw the donation of Hari Raya hampers of basic necessities and clothes among 33 underprivileged families, orphans, senior citizens and single mothers residing in Kampong Ayer.
Acting Brunei-Muara District Officer Pengiran Muhammad Ameer Mubaarak bin Pengiran Haji Hashim, the guest of honour, presented the donations at a ceremony at Perdana Wangsa Haji Mohammad Mosque.
The ceremony continued with the presentation of donations to special individuals (OKU), senior citizens and underprivileged in Kampong Setia ‘A’, Kampong Setia ‘B’ and Kampong Bolkiah ‘B’. Penghulu of Mukim Zone 2 Kampong Ayer Raimi bin Rashid; Acting Village Head Zone 3 of Kampong Ayer Rahman bin Haji Kassim; and Jiwaku Ikhlas project founder Hajah Karmila binti Haji Sapar were among those present. – Lyna Mohamad
