(ANN/KOREA HERALD) – BTS member Jin is set to kick off the global promotion of his highly anticipated solo album, Happy, with an appearance on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on November 21.
The show released a teaser on its social media platforms Wednesday, featuring host Jimmy Fallon in a nostalgic, 1990s-style office scene. Fallon opens a “top secret” envelope containing a disk labeled “Special Guest,” which reveals a photo of Jin and the November 21 date.
Jin will perform “Running Wild,” the lead single from Happy, marking a significant solo stage for the artist. Notably, Gary Barlow of the iconic British band Take That contributed to the production of this track.
This appearance marks Jin’s return to The Tonight Show, where he last performed in July 2021 with BTS for their hit singles “Butter” and “Permission to Dance.” Since then, BTS members Jimin, Suga, and Jungkook have also showcased their solo works on the show.
Jin’s solo album Happy is set to be released worldwide on November 15 at 2 p.m. The album captures Jin’s unique take on happiness, aiming to spread joy through his music. The record features five additional B-side tracks: “I’ll Be There,” “Another Level,” “Falling,” “Heart on the Window (Ft. Wendy),” and “I Will Come To You.”
Happy comes two years after Jin’s successful collaboration with Coldplay on the single “The Astronaut.”
